Teagan Fingar scored seven goals as Penn Yan overcame a 6-2 defecit early in the third quarter to beat Chenango Forks, 11-8 and claim the Mustangs' first NYS Title since 2001. Penn Yan ran off five straight goals in third, Fingar scoring three and Tukker Fisher scoring twice, to take a 7-6 lead and the Mustangs never trailed again. Teagan and Braden Fingar scored twice each in the fouth quarter to lock up the title at Hobart William Smith College.
Penn Yan ended the season winning 14 of their last 15 games.
Garden City won the Class A title over Canandaigua 14-5 in the other game involving Section V Boys Lacrosse in Geneva.
