Kendall Jines stranded the tying and winning run as third-seeded Letchworth clinched the Class C1 championship. Entering the top of the eighth inning in a 1-1 ball game, Dundee/Bradford pitcher Morgan Sutryk recorded a ground out and a five-pitch strikeout. With two outs, Letchworth catcher Autumn Mann drew a five-pitch walk, and on an 0-1 count in the next at-bat, first baseman Brianna Burel roped a go-ahead double to left field to give the Legends a 2-1 lead. Jines threw a complete game allowing one run on four hits and two walks while striking out nine batters. Center fielder Charity Scott went 2-for-4 with a fifth-inning RBI to give the Legends a 1-0 lead. Makalya Mann recorded a walk and crossed the plate once. For the Dundee/Bradford, Piper Simpson hit a game-tying home run in the bottom of the fifth for the BraveScots' lone run. Emily Rosno went 2-for-3 with two singles and a stolen base. After being eliminated in the first round as the ninth seed in 2025, the Legends posted a +13 run differential in three games and now will advance to the Class C1 regional qualifier.
CLASS C2

No 1. CALEDONIA-MUMFORD (20-2) 6
After being eliminated in the 2025 Class C1 semi-finals by eventual champion Bloomfield, Caledonia-Mumford returned to the Class C2 sectional bracket as the one seed. Back-to-back two-run innings in the championship for the Raiders would be enough momentum to give Caledonia-Mumford its 11th sectional title in program history and advance to the Class C2 regional qualifier. Four straight two-out singles by Mia Wilson, Kylie Padlick-Field, Grace Beach, and Shea Drazkowski gave the Raiders a 2-1 lead in the bottom of the third. Then, with two outs in the bottom of the fourth, Colleen Talty hit a two-run homer to center to extend the lead to 4-0. For Caledonia-Mumford, Kylie Padlick-Field pitched four innings, allowing one hit, two runs (one earned), and five walks while striking out nine batters. Grace Beach threw three shutout innings, allowing only one hit, while striking out three of ten batters. Talty went 2-for-3 with a home run, three RBI, a run scored, and a walk. Audrey Padlick-Field went 1-for-3 with a double and a run scored. London Mattingly had a single and crossed the plate twice. For Kendall, Teagan Shaw drove in the Eagles' lone run of the game. Alea Barrett went 1-for-2 on a bunt single and recorded a walk and a run scored. Adrianna D’Agostino went 1-for-1 with two walks and a run scored, and Isabella D’Agostino drew two walks.
“These girls have worked extremely hard all season and showed grit and toughness throughout the year," said Cal-Mum head coach Dan Dickens. "I’m really happy for all of them, especially our seniors.”
CLASS D1
No. 4 FILLMORE (13-6) 4
No. 2 OAKFIELD-ALABAMA (18-1) 6
Entering the bottom of the sixth down 4-0, Allison Williams and Ysabella Schrauger both walked before Tori Davis knocked a two-run single to put Oakfield-Alabama up 6-4 to close out the Class D1 sectional championship. Savannah Durham struck out 13 batters in a complete game effort, allowing five hits and four runs (one earned) to earn the win in the circle. The sophomore also collected an RBI triple and one run. Chloe Lamb finished 2-for-3 with one RBI and one run scored. Williams, Raine Denny and Rylee Denny each added a single. Allison Harkness, Emma Thompson and Emma Moeller all finished with one run scored. Morghyn Ross paced Fillmore going 2-3 with two stolen bases, an RBI and two runs scored. Mylee Miller doubled, stole two bags and scored two runs. Tenlee Miller doubled, singled and stole one base. Mattie McCumiskey added two RBI. Oakfield-Alabama will advance to the Class D Regional Qualifier to battle Avoca-Prattsburgh for a spot in the NYSPHSAA quarterfinals.
CLASS D2

Tournament MVP Payton Hopkins punched out seven batters in a three-hitter, allowing only two walks to lead Avoca-Prattsburgh to the Class D2 sectional crown. Hopkins also doubled and scored one run. Charlotte Peck collected a double, a single and one RBI. Alydia Mcintyre went 1-for-2 with a triple, a walk, one RBI and two runs scored. Meyah Putnam and Olivia Mullen both ended with one single. Brooke VanSkiver added one RBI. Isabella Groves led Lyndonville with a double and a stolen base. Brooke Robinson and Hannah Fox both ended with a single. Arnie Sturtevant struck out 11 batters across a complete game effort, allowing six hits, three runs (two earned) and one walk. Avoca-Prattsburgh will advance to the Class D Regional Qualifier to battle Oakfield-Alabama for a spot in the NYSPHSAA quarterfinals.
