Serving as a Section V official provides a great way to stay active, contribute to the sports you love, and earn money while making your own schedule.

New Officials Incentive Program
Section V provides $2,000 each season to offset costs for first year officials. Reimbursement is $100 max per official.
For an official to qualify for this program:
- They must make official organization’s mandatory number of meetings for the year.
- Be available to be assigned.
- Complete the season as a working official.
- Be in good standing per the president of the official’s organization.
Deadlines are:
Fall Sports – October 15
Winter Sports – January 15
Spring Sports – April 15
The motivation is to retain new certified officials. Reimbursement will be provided by check from Section V at the beginning of the candidates second season of officiating.
