Section V boys basketball will crown nine champions this weekend at Blue Cross Arena at the Rochester Community War Memorial. Action tips off Friday night at 5 p.m. when Le Roy faces Mynderse in Class B1. Class D follows with Andover-Whitesville takes on Elba, and the night concludes with Bishop Kearney/Chesterton and Canisteo-Greenwood meeting for the Class B2 championship. 

Saturday gets started at 9 a.m. with Penfield and Victor battling for the Class AA1 title. Pittsford Mendon and Greece Athena will meet for the AA2 title at 11 a.m. Fairport and Rush-Henrietta follow in the Class AAA game while Wayne and Monroe will face either in Class A. 

Lyons will meet Geneseo in the Class C1 game at 5 p.m. while Honeoye and York will conclude the day with a 7 p.m. tip-off for the Class C2 championship.
