Boys Cross Country: Henry Hill, Fairport
Henry has been participating in Cross Country for six years. He also participates in Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field. Henry shares that, sadly, “I was unable to compete for most of the season due to a fracture in my foot. However, watching my teammate Andrew Green win the Section V meet was an inspiring and exciting highlight”. After high school, Henry plans to attend college where he will continue to run. Boys Soccer: Isaiah Sisson, Fillmore
Isaiah has been participating in soccer since he was five years old. He also plays basketball and tennis. Isaiah shares that his highlights from this fall season was when Fillmore was the 2025 Class D State Co-Champions. After high school, Isaiah plans to attend Houghton University to major in applied physics and play soccer. Isaiah states the one word that best describes him is “determined”. |

Field Hockey: Caitlin Burwell, Pittsford Mendon
Caitlin has been playing field hockey for six years; she used to play ice hockey, as well. After high school, Caitlin says “Field Hockey has shaped my self-discipline, resilience, empathy and leadership, and I want to carry those same qualities into my academic and professional life. I intend to pursue a major in Neuroscience on a pre-med track in college while continuing to compete in field hockey. I aspire to become a physician and work directly with patients and stay connected to the communities I serve throughout my career. Long term, I will build a life that combines medicine, service, and leadership, using both my education and athletic experience to make a meaningful impact on others. Caitlin shares that some of her highlights from this fall season are “being the second-highest scorer on the team, being the only player in Section V to be a four time sectional champion for field hockey; one time with Sutherland Field Hockey in 9th grade, and three times with Mendon Field Hockey (10-12th grade), in Sectional Semifinals, I assisted our first goal to put us ahead 1-0, and after Sutherland scored to tie the game, I put us back in the lead by scoring the final goal, securing a 2–1 win and sending us to the finals. In Sectional Finals, I scored the first goal getting us ahead of Webster Thomas. Caitlin was awarded the 2nd Team All-County. Caitlin states the one word that best describes her is “resilient”.

Football: McLane Stermole, Haverling
McLane has been participating in the sport of football for 13 years! He also participates in Swim/Dive and Lacrosse. McLane shares that some of his highlights from this fall season are “beating our rivals, Hornell, and getting 13 tackles in my final game”. After high school, McLane plans to attend college and double major in Finance and Accounting. McLane states the one word that best describes him is “reliable”. |

Game Day Cheerleading: Ella Martin, Churchville-Chili
Ella has been participating in fall cheerleading for the last four years. Ella shares that a special highlight for her, from this past season, includes “having the opportunity to compete at states with my team”. After high school, Ella plans to attend Pittsburgh University to major in nursing; she plans to continue her education to become a pediatric nurse practitioner. Ella states the one word that best describes her is “ambitious”. |

Girls Cross Country: Alexa Wolfe, Haverling
Alexa has been participating on the Cross Country team for six years. In addition, she participates on the Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field Team as well as the Alpine Ski Team. Alexa shares that some of her highlights from this fall season are “winning the LCAA/GRAA championship and qualifying for the NYS meet with one spike”. After high school, Alexa plans to continue running while attending SUNY Geneseo to study English and History. Alexa states the one word that best describes her is “disciplined”. |

Girls Golf: Zoe VonDerLinn, Penfield
Zoe has been participating in Girls Golf for the past three years; she also plays on the softball team. Zoe shares that some of her highlights from this fall season are “really enjoying practicing and playing with my best friends. I enjoyed meeting girls from other schools while playing. I also am proud of making second team All County for the second year, and meeting all my golf goals I had set prior to the season”! After high school, Zoe plans to attend a Big 10 school to study sports management; ultimately, she would like to secure a position working in professional sports. Girls Soccer: Kira DeBruyne, Wheatland-Chili
Kira has been playing soccer for 12 years! She also participates in swim and dive and dance. After high school, Kira plans on attending a 4-year college to study Exercise Science. Once she graduates, she plans to attend Chiropractic College to get her Doctor of Chiropractic Degree. Kira shares that highlights from this fall season are “winning the Megan Carl Tournament, senior night and winning our first sectional game at home”. Girls Swimming and Diving: Natalie Gilbert, Honeoye Falls-Lima
Natalie has been participating in Girls Swim/Dive since she was nine years old. Natalie also participated on the Track Team. Natalie shares that some of her highlights from this fall season are “breaking three pool records, Monroe County Division 3 Swimmer of the Year for the 3rd year in a row, Swimmer of the Meet for the 2nd year in a row, AGR First Team for the 3rd year in a row, Finalist in my state events for the 3rd year in a row, Captain of the team for the 2nd year in a row, and Athlete of the Year for Primetime Elite Channel 8 for the 2nd year in a row” After high school, Natalie plans to attend college where she will be continuing her academic and athletic career swimming D1 at Niagara University. She will be majoring in nursing, with a minor in Spanish, with aspirations to become a nurse practitioner. Natalie states the one word that best describes her is “dedicated”. |

Omika has been playing tennis for 14 years; beginning at a young age. After high school, Omika hopes to attend college to study astrophysics and economics with the goal of working in the field of outer space. Omika shares that some of her highlights from this fall season are “going to the state championship as a team for the first time in Mendon Girls Tennis history! Additionally, winning the A2 Individual Singles Champion for the fourth consecutive year”. Omika states the one word that best describes her is “vivacious”. |

Girls Volleyball: Emma Mackey, Dansville
Emma has been participating in Girls Volleyball for 11 years! In addition, she plays golf and dances. Emma shares that some of her highlights from this fall season are “winning my first-ever game this season, running the offense as the team’s setter, getting multiple successful tips at the net, pushing through tough moments, staying consistent, and improving my court awareness and communication”. After high school, Emma plans to attend college to study computer sciences. Emma states the one word that best describes her is “determined”. |

Evelyn has been participating in Gymnastics for six years in total. Evelyn shares that highlights from this fall season are “overcoming an injury and adding a higher level vault that helped me make my goal of qualifying for States as an All Around competitor. Also, winning bars at Sectionals for the second year in a row”. After high school, Evelyn plans to attend college where she will study psychology.
