CLASS A

No. 2 FAIRPORT (8-5) 20
No. 1 PENFIELD (9-3) 32

The first half was a largely back-and-forth affair. Fairport opened the game with the ball and started to move downfield, but a series of penalties stalled their advance before Penfield 9th grader Hadley Schrouder intercepted a pass. Penfield then began a drive of its own that culminated when Emma Garrigan, coming off a three-touchdown game in the semis, got by two defenders and received the pass from Sophia Puccia before waltzing in for the opening score. Molly Brown came in with the one-point conversion to give the Patriots the early 7-0 lead. READ MORE

Webster Schroeder (13-1) led throughout the game, first scoring on a pass from Rascoe to Brynn Zoltoski to finish an early drive. The Warriors were up 20-0 by the time Arcadia (13-1) got on the board with 4:41 left in the first half on a touchdown pass from Aimee Turner to Kaitlyn Spring. Schroeder led by as much as 27 in the second half, with an early second-half pick-six snagged at the goal line by Addison Morgan stifling any attempts by Arcadia for a serious comeback. READ MORE
