Rick Steiner is best defined by his dedication and longevity of service. Thirty-four years as a science teacher and 35 years as a tennis coach at Perry Central School District with an overall record of 380-87, nine consecutive seasons without a loss (124 match win streak), LCAA league chairperson for 30 years, and 17 years as the Section V boy's tennis coordinator. Amazing!!!!
Thank you, Rick, for leading the way in boys' tennis in Section V for so many years.
Rick's attention to detail, facts supported by data, input from the sport committee, always doing what is best for the sport are just a few descriptors of his leadership style. Rick took his role as coordinator very seriously and Section V is thankful for his commitment to this role as coordinator. Tennis is a sport of ethical behavior and eitquette. Rick exemplifies both of those to the highest degree.
Congratulations to Rick for his unwavering dedication to Section V boy's tennis.
