"Thank you so much for the honor and the scholarship.  I am really excited to attend college this fall.  I'm pursuing two different career options--professional volleyball/collegiate coaching or something in medicine (pre-medical or pre-veterinary) and to be able to do that I'm double majoring in sports management and biology. I have worked really hard in high school, both academically and athletically.  I took advantage of dual credit and AP coursework and really fine tuned my time management skills. I play volleyball almost year round and train on the court and in the weight room. Competition and team culture are motivating and I'm happy to continue to play a sport I love at the collegiate level.  I've made great friendships both locally and nationally and look forward to continue to build those relationships."
