Section V Athletics

    Carter shares that “I have been playing basketball since I was about 5 years old and was able to dribble and shoot.” In addition to basketball, he also plays soccer and tennis. In terms of what he will miss most about competing in high school interscholastic athletics, he states that “I will miss all of the great memories and teammates with whom I was able to experience both the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat. My best memories came on the two trips we took to the New York State Final Four in soccer. This experience allowed for everyone on the team to bond and grow closer as a family through the process.” After high school Carter plans to major in education at Houghton College. He shares that one word that best describes himself is “disciplined.”
