Section V Athletics

Hope has been playing soccer for six years, and also participates in basketball and track and field. She says that highlights from this season include “getting to play my last season with an amazingly talented and young team, making it to the final round of sectionals, and all the positive support I received from my school, family and friends.” In the fall Hope plans to attend college to study mechanical engineering. She shares that one word that best describes herself is “positive - no matter what the score was, what was going on, or whether it was a game or practice, I always walked off the field with a smile and encouraging words.”
