Section V FOOTBALL HALL OF FAME

The Section V Football Hall of Fame plans to welcome its latest induction class of 12, April 1 at the RIT Inn and Conference Center in West Henrietta.

This year’s class includes five former players: Jeff Erne (Pittsford), Monte Nowden (Gates Chili), Matt Mackey (Rush-Henrietta), John Parrinello (Aquinas) and Troy Stark (Canandaigua). Three coaches are among the new hall of fame members: Frank Colwell (Monroe), Frank Ruane (Le Roy and Caledonia-Mumford) and Al Pannoni (Gates Chili). Rochester Chapter of Certified Football Officials members Chuck Greenly and Charlie Kimble will be enshrined in this class, along with Section V football committee members Joe Gugino (Greece Athena) and Jim Cleveland (Penfield).

Tickets are $35 per person or $300 for a table of 10. Tickets may be purchased by mail at this address: Neil Zwierlein, 81 Vineyard Drive, Rochester, N.Y. 14616.

Athletic Directors and Coaches:  Please submit your Team and Individual Records for this year and career.  Please include for Quarterbacks (Attempts, Completions, and Yards); for Running Backs (Attempts and Yards); for Receivers (Receptions and Yards); for Kickers (# of Extra Points and # of Field Goals plus Totals Points.)  Please send any other Records that we keep in our Record Book

 

 

Congratulations to the Hornell Red Raiders on their victory over Nanuet from Section 1 in the Class B State Football Finals.

 

FOR SALE:  Rogers open field tackling machine for sale. Only half a season work on it. It comes with two tackling bags one 80 lb. and one 50 lb. I paid $2300. I will entertain all offers. Great for open filed tackling practice and double team and chop blocking. The Machine is in my garage in Rochester NY.  Please contact Bill Jones 585-733-4273.

 


Scrimmages and Games Needed
